THOR NORSE GOD Bronze Pendant - Protector God on THRONE by Dryad Design in Bronze

Note: the interior of the throne is hollow. It would be very heavy to wear otherwise. It's very intricately designed and detailed - beautiful!

Thor, a Norse God, created thunder by striking his great hammer Mjollner. He protected the house of the Gods and humankind. The runes around the base are an invocation of Thor's protection and read; "Thor's thunder strike and hallowed hold us with Mjollner's might." The scene on the back depicts a battle between Thor and Ior, the World Serpent. An ox head was used as bait, and the struggle became so intense that Thor's feet crashed through the bottom of the boat and he used the seabed for support.

From Wikipedia: In Norse mythology, Thor (from Old Norse Þórr) is a hammer-wielding god associated with thunder, lightning, storms, oak trees, strength, the protection of mankind, and also hallowing, healing and fertility. The cognate deity in wider Germanic mythology and paganism was known in Old English as Þunor and in Old High German as Donar (runic þonar), stemming from a Common Germanic *Þunraz (meaning "thunder").
